A Look Inside DPW Operations

Did you know the Water Treatment Plant was originally built in 1897 and has the capacity to treat approximately 3.6 million gallons of water per day? Or that there are approximately 100 miles of road in Lebanon which must be maintained to ensure the safe daily travel of the residents and visitors?

Enter the world (and the garage) of the City’s Water and Public Works Department in this CATV video recording of a recent Citizens Academy class where class participants learned what it takes to keep our city water flowing and our streets clean and usable.
