MLK/Civil Rights Day Closures

In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr./Civil Rights Day, please be aware that City Hall, Lebanon Libraries, and all other City administrative offices will be CLOSED on Monday, January 21, 2019. Please note that the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility will be open regular hours. Remember to purchase landfill punch cards before Monday. Have a happy and safe holiday!

Full Moon Fiesta

Join LebRec at Storrs Hill Ski Lodge this Saturday, January 19th from 6:00 to 8:00pm, for their 13th Annual Full Moon Fiesta dinner event where the whole family can travel by snowshoe, skis, or snowboard  while enjoying a veritable smorgasbord.

Local sponsoring restaurants will offer light food and hot beverages as you get out to enjoy the snow and some delicious food. All proceeds benefit the Lebanon Recreation and Parks Assistance Program and Lebanon Outing Club. 
This is an eco-friendly event - please help reduce waste by bringing your own mug, spoon and bowl! 

Your ticket includes skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sledding, dancing, food, and time with family and friends outside with the community!

The Lebanon Citizens Academy consists of a series of classes, demonstrations, tours, and hands-on experiences designed to educate participants about their local government. The Academy is free and open to any resident who is at least 18 years of age.

Candidate Filing

On March 12, 2019, registered voters will be electing four City Councilors, two Library Board Trustees, several Election Officials, three Lebanon School Board Members, and three School District Officials. Declarations of Candidacy for these offices will be accepted at the Lebanon City Clerk’s Office from 9:00 AM Tuesday, January 29, 2019 through 5:00 PM Tuesday, February 12, 2019.

Voter Checklist Sessions

Supervisors of the Voter Checklists for Wards 1, 2, and 3 will be in session in City Hall Offices (51 North Park Street, Lebanon) for the purpose of making additions and corrections to the voter checklist on January 26th and January 28th. The January 26th session will be the last opportunity to register to vote in order to participate in the upcoming Annual School District Meeting to be held on February 2, 2019.

Elevator Temporary Closure

The elevator in Lebanon City Hall will be temporarily closed for repairs starting Monday, February 4, 2019 for approximately 3-4 weeks. During this time, no public meetings will be held in City Hall due to ADA compliance.

Recreation & Parks Highlights

Drop In Volleyball – Thursday, January 10th, 7:30pm to 9pm, SAU #88 Seminary Hill Building; Drop-in for an organized evening of bump, set, hit with power volleyball.

Winter Quilter’s Retreat – Friday, January 18th 6 pm to 9 pm & Saturday, January 19th 10 am to 5 pm, First Congregational Church of Lebanon; Try your hand at an easy quilt project and enjoy exclusive time set aside just for you! Fee includes patterns, basic instruction, admiration by fellow quilters, Saturday lunch and a chair massage. Register online at LebanonNH.gov/Register.
