Free Event Commemorating
1968 Moose Mountain Crash

On Saturday, Oct. 13th, a free event to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1968 crash of Northeast Airlines Flight 946 will be held at Granite Air Center, Lebanon Airport followed by hike to South Peak of Moose Mountain.

Lebanon Lieutenant Awarded

As part of the McDonald's fundraising event for the NH Association of Chiefs of Police, McDonald's also recognizes several officers throughout NH who go above and beyond the line of duty and are highly invested in their community. This year, Lieutenant Isham of the Lebanon Police Department was presented with the Community Policing Award.

Extended Hours for Voters to Register or Obtain Absentee Ballots

The Lebanon City Clerk's office will be open on Saturday October 20th and Saturday October 27th from 9am until 11am to offer Lebanon residents an additional opportunity to register to vote or obtain an absentee ballot for the upcoming November 6, 2018 NH State General Election. Sample ballots are also available to view online.

Citywide Water Main Flushing

The City of Lebanon will be flushing water mains (weather permitting) through hydrants to maintain water quality in the distribution system between the hours of 7AM to 3PM beginning Monday, October 1, 2018. Residents and businesses in the general area of the following streets should check their water before using.

Fall Rail Trail Walk – Friday, October 12th 10 am to 11 am, Lebanon Trailhead; Stretch those legs this fall and enjoy the foliage along the Northern Rail Trail. Call 603-448-5121 to register.

Cadillac Cuisine Club: Thompson Senior Center – Monday, October 15th or Wednesday, October 17th 10:45 am to 2 pm, Lebanon City Hall; A noon-time dining out event for seniors! An opportunity to socialize with other seniors in the Upper Valley. Call 603-448-5121 to register.

Open Gym Basketball – Tuesdays 8 pm to 10 pm, Lebanon Middle School; Informal drop-in basketball for adults 18 and up. Call Leb Rec at 603-448-5121 for more information.

2nd Annual Skatepark Day – Sunday, October 21st 12 pm to 4 pm, Rusty Berrings Skatepark; Open to the public! All ages welcome to come enjoy live music from The Conniption Fits, Sensible Shoes, Don Glasgo’s Rusty Berrings Brass Band. Free hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza and more!

Halloween FunFest – Wednesday, October 31st 4 pm to 6 pm, Lebanon City Hall & Colburn Park; Enjoy a free evening of Halloween celebration activities around Colburn Park! Stories in the Great Pumpkin Patch, pumpkin painting, and photos with your favorite storybook characters! Try some pumpkin bowling, spin art, or pumpkin ring toss. You never know what games we can come up with!
