Playground and Toddler Trot

Big news! The new Colburn Park Playground is ready to be installed! This will definitely be a day that brings smiling faces to many in Colburn Park. Installation will take place on Saturday, September 29th from 8am-12pm.

Mascoma Valley Energy Expo

This is a reminder that the Mascoma Valley Energy and Sustainability Expo is being held this Saturday, September 29th at the Mascoma Valley Regional High School. You must register by 9/27 to reserve a free lunchBreakout sessions will be held from 10am to 3pm and will include topics on Solar, Batteries, Net-Zero, High Efficiency Heating Systems, Weatherize, and Off-Grid.

Wild About Lebanon: Farnum Hill

Join the City of Lebanon and Upper Valley Land Trust (UVLT) for the last hike of the 2018 Wild About Lebanon series. The "Hike Farnum Hill" event is a 2.5 mile guided hike beginning at Farnum Preserve Parking Area on September 28th at 10am.

Recreation & Parks Highlights


Lebanon Farmers’ Market – Thursday, September 27th 4 pm to 7 pm, Colburn Park; Enjoy wonderful selections of local fresh produce, plants, prepared foods, baked goods and handmade crafts. Please support our local farmers and vendors by shopping at the Lebanon Farmers’ Market! Live music this week by Steve Spensley.

Clark Lookout Trail, Knights Hill Nature Park & Tucker’s – Friday, September 28th 10 am to 2 pm; This adventure takes us to New London to see Clark Lookout Trail and Knights Hill Nature Park. Bring money for lunch at Tucker’s in New London. Call 603-448-5121 to register.

Open Gym Basketball – Tuesdays 8 pm to 10 pm, Lebanon Middle School; Informal drop-in basketball for adults 18 and up. Call Leb Rec at 603-448-5121 for more information.

5th-8th Grade No School Adventure – Friday, October 5th 9 am to 4 pm, Cowabunga’s; Jump, slide, dive and dodge. That is what the day is built for. Come on out to hang out at Cowabunga’s. Bring your lunch, snacks and water. Register online at LebanonNH.gov/Register.

Foliage Five – Sunday, October 7th 2 pm, Union Village Dam; A great Fall Day Race at the Union Village Dam. All proceeds go to a UVRC scholarship to benefit a local high school runner. To register, visit LebanonNH.gov/Recreation.

Midfield Café – Tuesday, October 9th or Thursday, October 11th 9:30 am to 3 pm, Lebanon City Hall; For those 55 years of age or better, come enjoy the Fall days and enjoy some breakfast/lunch at the Midfield Café. If you are lucky, you’ll see some planes take off and land too! Call 603-448-5121 to register.

Fall Rail Trail Walk – Friday, October 12th 10 am to 11 am, Lebanon Trailhead; Stretch those legs this fall and enjoy the foliage along the Northern Rail Trail. Bring a water bottle, chat with other community members and make some new friends! Call 603-448-5121 to register.

Cadillac Cuisine Club: Thompson Senior Center – Monday, October 15th or Wednesday, October 17th 10:45 am to 2 pm, Lebanon City Hall; A noon-time dining out event for seniors! An opportunity to socialize with other seniors in the Upper Valley. Call 603-448-5121 to register.
